The Department of Mechanical Engineering maintains a departmental library to support the academic and professional development of students and faculty members. The library provides access to a wide range of learning resources to enhance subject knowledge, support curriculum-based learning, and keep users informed about recent technological advancements.
The library houses approximately 2,350 books, including prescribed textbooks and reference books aligned with the university syllabus, along with 520 volumes of complimentary textbook copies. It also preserves final-year undergraduate and postgraduate project reports submitted by students each year for future reference.
In addition, the library offers books on emerging technologies, recent developments in Mechanical Engineering, and personality development to promote continuous learning and professional growth.
All students and staff members of the department are eligible to use the library facilities. A dedicated staff member oversees library operations and manages the issue and return of books.
The library remains accessible from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM to facilitate effective utilization of its resources.
