The Department of Mechanical Engineering has a department library, a facility for the students and staff for reference purposes. The facility was provided to enrich the knowledge of both the students & staff.
The department library has prescribed and reference textbooks according to the university syllabus. Currently, the department library has nearly 2000 books. In addition, the department library is also in possession of 500 volumes of complimentary copies of the textbooks. The department library also archives the final year graduation & Post Graduation project reports submitted by the students every year.
The department library has a series of books on the latest trends and also books for personality development. Every person in the department is a member of this library and can collect information to cope with recent developments.
A dedicated staff member monitors the department library for the issue of books from 10:00 am to 04:00 pm.
