The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering was established in the academic year 1994, offers UG and PG programs, namely B.Tech in Electrical & Electronic Engineering and M.Tech in Power Systems Engineering. The department started B.Tech with an annual intake of 60 students and is offering M.Tech from the academic year 2004-05. The department has highly qualified and well experienced Faculty, specialized in allied areas of Electrical Engineering like Power systems, Electrical Machines, Industrial Drives, Power Electronics, Control Systems, High Voltage Engineering, IOT, AI &ML etc.
The Department currently has with an annual intake of 120 in B.Tech (EEE) and 6 in M.Tech (PSE). We have over 11 laboratories with advanced equipment and facilities for supporting our teaching and research. It is envisioned to strengthen the quality of its faculty, research and teaching facilities, as well as student's academic performance. The department was accredited five times by National Board of Accreditation of AICTE.
