CIVIL ENGINEERING

About the Department

The Department of Civil Engineering is established in 1985 with an intake of 60. At present the intake is 120. The Department offers undergraduate program in Civil Engineering and postgraduate program, M. Tech, in Structural Engineering. The department has a nice blend of young and experienced, well qualified faculty and highly skilled technical staff. The department is accredited by NBA. It has well established and state-of-art laboratories to cater to the needs of both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. A Research centre is established to promote research in various specialization of Civil Engineering. The department offers consultancy for various Government and Private organizations. With all the required facilities to provide quality education, the department marches towards its vision of developing department into a centre of excellence in Civil Engineering education.
