EMDC was set-up in R.V.R. & J.C. College of Engineering campus with the assistance of A.I.C.T.E., New Delhi, to promote and educate young students to take the benefit of the policies of the government by establishing their own ventures. The cell organizes different activities and events to inculcate Entrepreneurial Spirit among the Science & Technology students.

The mission is to promote entrepreneurship-led innovation, thereby creating "nation of entrepreneurs" driven by creativity, initiative, risk taking, discipline, and personal development.
