VALUE ADDED COURSE INFORMATION

In order to strengthen the teaching � learning ambience and to prepare the students to meet the challenges of the global work environment, the department has taken up several initiatives like officering value added courses. In addition to the regular theory and lab course work, additional content and training are given to students to equip them to meet the demands and challenges of the industry. The following value additional courses are taught to the students:

1. CA The Department has conducted value added Certificate courses Infosys Campus Connect, Oracle Certificate courses, Personality Development Courses for the students.
2 CS The Department has conducted value added Certificate courses Infosys Campus Connect, Oracle Certificate courses, Personality Development Courses for the students.
3 EC The Department has conducted value added courses, Analog VLSI Design, CAD for VLSI Design, Computer Networking and hard ware etc.  Students are also exposed to electronic design and simulation using the latest software’s and  their technical skills are enhanced by providing  new electronic design software’s like HSPICE, MATLAB v7, WIPL D, CST Studio, PROTEUS, Active HDL
4 EE The Department has taken up several measures to offer value added courses. The value added courses are aimed to  expose the students to  simulate Electrical Engineering Systems using the latest software/packages like MATLAB, PSCAD, PSPICE, MiPOWER, PSIM, EMTP etc.,
5 IT The Department has conducted value added Certificate courses Infosys Campus Connect, Oracle Certificate courses, Personality Development Courses for the students.
6 ME The students are trained on the latest CAD package through 3D Experience lab Established in association with APSSDC and Dassault systems. A complete training covering all modules of 3D Experience was given to the students. Special training will be given to interested students on latest technology Robotics in Applied Robot Control LAB and E-Yantra Lab. Students were also trained on Two wheeler, Four wheeler, R&AC and CBT through SIEMENS SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROJECT (t-SDI). Apart from this, the students will involve in different skill development/ Certification programmes offered by APPSSDC.
