HoD's Message

On behalf of our students, faculty and staff, it is my great pleasure to welcome you and invite you to discover the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department at R.V. R & J. C College of Engineering. The Department was established in the year 1994 with a starting intake of 60. We have a rich history and an outstanding record of contributions to the profession and community. I am honoured to be the part of Electrical and Electronics Engineering department at R.V. R & J. C College of Engineering. The Department offers UG and PG programmes, namely B.Tech in Electrical & Electronic Engineering and M.Tech in Power Systems Engineering. The Department currently has a team of 37 Faculty along with 11 supporting staff with an annual intake of 120 in B.Tech (EEE) and 6 in M.Tech (PSE). We have over 11 laboratories with advanced equipment and facilities for supporting our teaching and research. It is envisioned to strengthen the quality of its faculty, research and teaching facilities, as well as student's academic performance.

Electrical & Electronics Engineering Education has always been dynamic and in tune with the current development as well as innovations in creating new technology. There is no city without Electricity. Electrical power systems illuminate our planet and drive our industries. R.V.R & J.C College of Engineering Electrical Engineers will be ready to meet exciting challenges in the field of Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Our campus is an exciting place to study and grow where thinkers become leaders and where there is thirst for knowledge.
