The Department of Mechanical Engineering right from its inception of the undergraduate course B.Tech. (Mechanical) in the year 1985 has been contributing its modest share of the Mechanical Engineering graduates for national needs . A graduate study was introduced in 2004 in the specialization of CAD/CAM and Machine Design in 2013. The Department of Mechanical Engineering at RVR&JC college of engineering is as old as the Institute itself and has grown many fold during these twenty five years of its existence Its impact on the institute is easily demonstrated by noting the alignment of the department's evolution with key events of the institution. Today, the Department of Mechanical Engineering of RVR&JC College of Engineering attracts and features an rich diversity and quantity of talented individuals.
