About the Event

The challenge spans a total of 3 Hours, testing skills across multiple formats.

Round 1: Poster Design (1 Hour)
Round 2: Instagram Content Design (1 Hour)
Evaluation: 1 Hour

Event Format

Round 1: Poster Design

  • Duration: 1 Hour
  • Tool: Canva
  • Poster Size: A3
  • Theme: Announced at the venue prior to the start.
  • Task: Create an original poster based on the announced theme.
  • Submission: Share design with official event email (edit access) and export as PNG/JPG.

Round 2: Instagram Content Design

  • Duration: 1 Hour
  • Tool: Canva
  • Theme: Announced at the venue.
  • Option A (Carousel): 3–5 slides, 1080×1080 pixels.
  • Option B (Animated): GIF/MP4, 3–10 seconds, Looping animation.
  • Submission: Share design with official event email (edit access) and export as PNG/JPG (Carousel) or GIF/MP4 (Animation).

Judging Criteria

  • Creativity & Originality: How unique and imaginative is the concept?
  • Visual Appeal: Overall look and feel, use of colors, fonts, spacing and layout.
  • Message Clarity: Is the main idea/theme immediately understandable?
  • Relevance to Theme: How well does the poster align with the given topic or brief?
  • Composition & Balance: Proper alignment, hierarchy of text, and focus points.
  • Presentation & Explanation: How confidently and clearly the participant describes their design choices and story behind the poster.

Rules & Guidelines

Canva Collaboration Policy

  • Participants must collaborate their designs with the official event domain email and provide “Can edit” access.
  • Organizers have full control over the submitted design for event-related use.

Device & Account Guidelines

  • Participants may use their own device (Laptop / Tablet / Phone); bringing a personal device is optional.
  • Participants must use their own Canva account.
  • Internet access will be provided.

Originality Policy

  • Only original designs created during the challenge are permitted.
  • Plagiarism or use of copied content will result in disqualification.

Organizer Rights

  • Organizers reserve the right to edit, duplicate, and reuse submitted designs for evaluation, display, and official event purposes.
  • Participation implies acceptance of all terms and conditions.

  • 1st Prize: ₹3000
  • 2nd Prize: ₹2000
  • 3rd Prize: ₹1000
