Participants present research findings by explaining the key points, methodology, results, and conclusions of their study.

The PowerPoint Presentation should contain at least the following slides:

1. Title Slide with Name, Roll No., College etc.
2. Introduction
3. key points, methodology, results, and conclusions of a research paper.
4. Contents should be neat and clear with proper diagrams & pictures wherever necessary.
5. Video clips / Flash animations may be used.

General Instructions

1. All the Participants should carry their college ID Card.
2. Registration is mandatory to present a paper
3. Any suspicious doing can lead direct disqualification.
4. Judges decision will be final.

Specific Rules:

• Title, Participants Name, and E-mail ID for correspondence, Name of the Institution, Year and Branch of Study, Phone Number are mandatory.
• Implementation will have additional weightage.
• Maximum of 2 members per team from the same Institute.
• The allotted time would be a span of 10 minutes, which can be utilized as follows:
  *8 minutes for actual presentation
  *2 minutes for Questions

Description:

SCINTILLA Challenge is an exciting and intellectually stimulating technical quiz program that aims to test and enhance participants' knowledge across a wide range of technical subjects. From computer science and engineering to beyond, this quiz program covers a diverse array of topics, making it suitable for students, professionals, and tech enthusiasts alike. This event consists of two rounds named Prelims and Mains:

• Prelims: It is a multiple-choice question round. It consists of 20 questions and the participants need to complete it in 10 minutes. After this round first 9 teams will be selected and moved to next round.
• Mains: (Consists of 5 rounds)

1. Round-1: Beginner's Luck: This round is based on coding. In this round, basic level questions are given to each team (can write in any language like C, C++, Java, Python). If the team is able to complete the questions in the given time will get 20 points. In this round unsolved questions will be passed to your adjacent team if your team is unable to solve the question. If the adjacent team solves the passed questions in the allotted time can gain 10 points more.
   • Time allotted: 30 minutes for their questions, 10 minutes for passed questions
   • No. of Questions given: 3
   • Points: If solved directly 20 points per question and 10 points per each passed question.


2. Round-2: Knowledge Flip Fiesta: This round is based on Aptitude. In this, participants are requested to pick a card from the stack. These cards consist of different topics in Aptitude (like Age, Time & Work, Percentage, Profit & Loss, Clocks, Time, Speed, Distance, Relations, etc.). The participants are given a Life line, and it can be used when the team wants to change their topic. The Life line can be used only once. The questions are not passed to other teams.
   • Time allotted: 2 minutes
   • No. of Questions given: 2
   • Points: 10 points per question


3. Round-3: Reel Riddle: In this round, a video clip is displayed for each team. After the video clip questions are asked based on the shown video. Same video is not played again.
   • Time allotted: 90 seconds
   • No. of Questions asked: 5
   • Points: 5 points per question


4. Round-4: In this round, top 6 teams are provided with incomplete printed codes. The missing parts of the code are given as separate slips of paper. The task for participants is to identify the correct pieces from a stack (which includes both valid and invalid options) and attach them in the correct places to complete the program or algorithm.
   • Time allotted: 2 minutes' per question
   • No. of Questions given: 1
   • Points: 5 points per each correct answer


5. Round-5: Fast and Furious: For this round, top 4 teams are selected. 1 minute per team is allotted. Maximum number of questions can be answered in a minute.
   • No. of Questions: Based on Time (90 seconds)
   • Points: 5 points per question

RULES AND GUIDELINES:

• All UG and PG students are eligible.
• Only team entries are eligible.
• A team should consist of exactly two persons.
• Replacement of any participant of a team is not allowed after registration
• The prelims round will be conducted in any one of the computer labs within the campus on the day of the event. The participants will be informed of the venue and time in due course of time.
• Each team would have to answer 20 multiple choice objective type questions.
• Time limit will be 10 minutes for the entire session.
• Only 9 teams would be selected for the mains round.
• Student Identity Card is compulsory.
• Student must enter the same details provided during registration.

Rules & Guidelines for the Team

1. All the Participants should carry their college ID Card.
2. Registration must be done before the commencement of the event.
3. A team is not allowed to discuss with any other team during the contest.
4. Any sort of indiscipline during the contest shall lead to cancellation of participation of the team.
5. Each member of the team will receive a participation certificate individually.

Prelims Round:

1. Maximum number of members allowed per team is 2.
2. The same team must appear for both prelims and mains.
3. The team should use only their allotted Unique ID. Using other User ID's shall lead to disqualification of the team summarily.
4. Each team should have a HackerEarth account registered with either one of the teammates emails.
5. Prelims Round consists of 20 MCQs and time limit is 15 Minutes.
6. The MCQs will be given from any of the programming languages C, C++, Python & Java.

Mains Round:

1. The maximum time allotted is 3 hours for Mains Round.
2. The problems may be solved using any of the programming languages C, C++, Python & Java.
3. The team that solves the maximum number of the given problems and maximum number of test cases possible and appropriate programming style will be the winner.
4. The winners of the team will receive a cash prize with certificate.

Description:

Colloquy is a group discussion event to screen the candidate's personality traits and skills that it desires in its members. The group of candidates is given a topic or situation, given a few minutes time to think and then asked to discuss the topic among themselves for 15 to 20 minutes. Evaluation is done by the subject experts based on the performance.

2. Topics for discussion can be from a wide range of issues in society.
3. Topic will be given on the spot.
4. Participants are divided into groups. A group consists of minimum of 5 students and maximum 8 students.
5. The time limit for preparation will be 5 min.
6. The time limit for presenting for 5 students will be 10 min. and for 8 students will be 15 min.
7. Only English Language is allowed.
8. Participants to the final round will be selected based on the marks awarded by the judge.
9. The students who have qualified in Prelims are eligible to participate in Finals
10. Winners in the final round will be solely selected by the panel of Judges
11. The Decision of the Judges is Final.

The challenge is to design a website with an attractive and coherent visual style, incorporating colors, background, structure and layout that suit the website's identity and purpose. The design should also offer a modern and user-friendly interface, with features and functions that are easy to access and operate.

This program enhances the knowledge of subjects encompassing computer science and engineering. Join us for the rewarding experience that goes beyond conventional boundaries and enhancing your knowledge in the dynamic world of technology.

This program consists of the two stages:

1. Prelims
2. Mains (4 rounds)

Prelims

A team of two members need to attend the prelims test on MCQs general reasoning to basic level of programming.

Prelims test consists of 20 MCQs and time limit is 15 minutes.

20 Student teams will be selected for FINAL Round.

Students qualified for final round will receive participation certificate.

Mains:

Round -1: Sudo Hash chronicle

Time allotted: 20 minutes

This round is based on basic hash mapping and solving Sudoku. In this round, a hash function is given, and the key values are given in the puzzle (i.e. crossword), and the key value is processed through the hash function, and the hash values generated are used in solving the "Sudoku".

Round -2: Tech Charades

Time allotted: 40 minutes

In this round, one of the team members is given a word, and he has to act and describe the given word while the other teammate tries to guess the given word.

Round -3: Racking Brains

Time allotted: 60 minutes

• This game starts will players solving a pool of questions .
• Both the members of the team can discuss and choose their main question (from the pool) and specify the question to volunteer. Once a question is chosen that team will not be able to change their question.
• 10 questions will be fired at each participant at a time and all questions should be answered at a stretch within given time slot in order.
• No. of questions answered in order within given time slot will be qualified.

Round -4: Byte Talks

Time allotted: 20 minutes

In this round, top teams will be competing for the title 'Invincible of SOIREE'. Each team will choose a random topic (Lucky dip). For each topic, there are a set of restricted keywords that shouldn't be used in their speech. Each team will have a few minutes of time for preparation to deliver their speech.

Objective: The primary objective of this event is to encourage students to utilize their knowledge of IoT to build prototypes that address complex challenges. • Prelims Round:

  • Format: The prelims will be an online test consisting of 30 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) on the Fundamentals of IoT.
