Description:

This event is aimed to encourage students to review the latest literature, prepare a technical report, make a presentation, and communicate the concept lucidly and interact with a group of audience to enable them to improve their communication skills, improve their stage presentation, and work with a group.

Rules & Guidelines

1. Team can have maximum of 2 participants from same branch.
2. No participants can be part of more than one team.
3. The participants forming a team should be from the same college.
4. There is no restriction on the number of teams from the same college.
5. Please mention your discipline/branch in which you will be presenting your paper.
6. Presentation should last no longer than 10 minutes.
7. Directly copying from the Internet is strongly discouraged and will not be entertained.
8. Your College ID card is a must for attending the events. Without an ID card, you are not permitted inside the college.

Paper Format Rules:

1. The paper should be in IEEE format.
2. Abstract may not exceed one Page
3. The front page should have title of paper on the top and the details of the team members at the bottom. (As mentioned in abstract)
4. It should have abstract attached.
5. Font style for text: Times New Roman.
6. Font size for text: 12 points.
7. Font size for headings: 16 points.
8. Font size for sub-headings: 14 points.
9. Margin of 1 inch from all sides.

Note: Upload full-length papers on or before 25th December 2024.

Note: Violation of any rule can result in rejection of team.

Important:

Authors' names, email IDs, college names, and mobile numbers should be printed on the front page of the papers.

Digital Poster presentation is an art of communication that is required for every engineer in delivering the technical knowledge. Participants are encouraged to deliver a digital poster in the following themes:

1. Trends in Concrete Technology.
2. Green Building Technology.
3. Watershed management.
4. Application of Geosynthetics in Civil Engineering.
5. Intelligent Transport Systems.
6. Applications of GIS in Civil Engineering.
7. Low Cost Housing Technologies.

Rules & Guidelines

Participation is limited to Civil Engineering student only.

1. Maximum of two participants are allowed for each Digital Poster presentation.
2. Participants are required to present Digital Poster in a single PDF or image format.
3. Discretion related to the Digital Poster is to be explained at the time of presentation
4. Your College ID card is a must for attending the events. Without an ID card, you are not permitted inside the college.

Description:

Technical quiz is a stimulating event to explore civil engineering concepts and excellence of its legacy. Participants can enjoy the mediation of quiz, nerves, goosebumps, and tranquility. Participants can win exciting prizes/participation certificates.

Rules & Guidelines

1. A team consists of two members (B.Tech., Civil Engineering students).
2. Preliminary screening written test to select SIX TEAMS for Technical quiz event.
3. In the technical quiz event, there are 3-rounds:
   • a) Team Question Round
   • b) Picture Question round
   • c) Rapid Fire Round
4. Your College ID card is a must for attending the events. Without an ID card, you are not permitted inside the college.

Description:

Treasure hunt, the idea of hunting for hidden treasures has always been exciting and adventurous. In treasure hunt, participants work in small teams to find the treasure with the help of given clues. The team who decodes the clue and finds the treasure first will win the game. Treasure Hunts help people develop new skills and strengthen and reinforce other skills such as leadership, communication, and problem solving.

Rules & Guidelines

1. Team entries only.
2. Maximum two members per team.
3. It will be completely based on technical knowledge.
4. The team who will complete the task before other teams will be selected as the winning team.
5. The students from our college are not allowed to participate in this event.

Description:

Bridge model making competition is to showcase the skills in designing aesthetically and economically in the design of the bridge. The model will be fabricated by the supplied materials only and tested for the strength-to-weight ratio.

Rules & Guidelines

1. It is a team event with a minimum of 2 members with an objective of fabricating a bridge model of their choice in a fixed time.
2. Sticks (unlimited), Gum, Cutter, and Thread only will be allowed for the fabrication and are provided at the time of the event.
3. A selection criterion is based on Architecture, Dead weight, and Maximum load measured at 30 cm span, 11 cm width, and length not less than 40 cm.
4. A maximum of 10 teams will be shortlisted if more teams are registered for the event by a screening test comprises of short answers/multiple choice questions in Solid mechanics, Structural analysis and other general topics in civil engineering.
5. Duration of model making- 1 hr 30 Min + 10 min Grace
6. Failure load to the dead weight of the structure is used to assess the efficiency of the model.
7. There are three prizes to win (1st ,2nd and 3rd )

Description:

CAD modeling competition is based on Computer-aided designing software. We will provide Civil Engineering related PDF drawings. Participants need to draft the same drawing on Auto CAD.

Rules & Guidelines

1. Participation is limited to individual Civil Engineering students only.
2. A screening test on AutoCAD may be conducted to shortlist participants for the final round.
3. Participants are required to plan & draw for the given concept in a given time of 90 minutes in the final round.
4. Your College ID card is a must for attending the events. Without an ID card, you are not permitted inside the college.
