Outcomes of industrial visit to DrNTTPS,Vijayawada:

Recognize the process units - Boiler, Pump, Condenser, Steam turbine, Generator, Electrostatic precipitator, Pulveriser, Reclaimer. Generate the process flow diagram.
Identify input and output for the process.
Experience the importance of working safety.
Understand the concept of thermal energy conversion & estimate overall thermal efficiency of power plant.
Understand how does the product of the power plant is interfaced to the world.

Outcomes of industrial visit to substation:

Students gained practical knowledge about 230KV SS,110KV SS and 33/11KV Substation layout and instruments like Power Transformer, Tap changing Transformer, Autotransformer, Bus bar, Instrument Transformers(CT and PT) and SF6 Circuit Breaker and Air blast Circuit Breaker.
Student cleared out practical knowledge of transformer as how it step down voltage 220 KV to 132 KV.
They also got knowledge about new SCADA based system as you can operate substation by manually or by command from computer using SCADA system and PLC programming.

Outcomes of industrial visit to JOCIL:

Students acquired the knowledge regarding the equipment, production and manufacturing of the variety of soaps and quality etc.
