Basic Electronics Laboratory

LAB IN-CHARGE: Sri P. Venkata Kishore Babu
LAB TECHNICIAN: Sri M Siva Kumar
LABORATORY AREA: 110 sq. meters

In this Laboratory, the characteristics of various semi-conductor devices like diodes, BJTs, UJT, FETs, etc., are experimentally studied. Students can study the various types of rectifier circuits, frequency response of amplifiers and filters experimentally. It also enables the students to gain experience on the designing of Digital Electronic Circuits.

This is the lab where basic analog and digital experiments are conducted. This lab also provides the foundation for integrated electronics engineering. Guidance is provided to the students by a team of expert faculty and lab technicians. All basic electronic devices and their characteristics, applications can be studied. Using these devices the small electronic circuits can be constructed and checked. In order to introduce the students with basic components of electronics this lab is furnished with advanced CROs, power supplies, function generators, pulse generators and digital multimeters. Students can perform practicals on P-N junction diode, Zener Diode, rectifiers and filters, transistor biasing and their characteristics in different modes, RC coupled amplifiers and FETs. Through digital experiments, students become familiar with gates, multiplexers, decoders, flip-flops, counters, registers and displays.Explains Boolean logic functions, Describes TTL and CMOS logic, as well as IC logic devices.
