BASIC ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING LABORATORY

LAB IN-CHARGE: Sri G.Veeranjaneyulu
LAB TECHNICIAN: Sri R.Maruthi Vara Prasad
LABORATORY AREA: 157.6 sq. meters

The Basic Electrical Engineering Laboratory gives the knowledge of fundamental concepts of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and aims at providing the students with basic understanding of D.C and A.C. fundamentals, network theorems, and fundamentals of A.C. & D.C. machines.

The Basic Electrical Engineering Laboratory is to learn the basic laws and principles of DC and AC networks and electrical machines for II/IV B.Tech students. Students to know types of supplies, meters to be used for different electrical quantities in dc as well as ac. They come to know how the meters should be connected and how the circuits work. They can able to understand the connectivity of the circuit, how to measure voltage, current, power and to control speed of electrical machines. Mainly they learn the usage and application of different types of electrical equipment in their field works. These electrical machines are used in our day to day life and these practicals help students understand why they are best suited for particular practical purposes.
